Adele Dazeem, er, Idina Menzel is going to Hollywood Bowl!

Idina Menzel is a Tony Award-winning actress, singer and songwriter who has had a diverse career on the stage, in films and television, and in music. As the star of many on and off-Broadway productions -- including "Wicked", "Rent" and currently "If/Then", Menzel has amazed audiences with her strong, emotional performances.

She appeared on the Fox hit television series "Glee" and has been seen on the big screen in the film adaptation of "Rent" and Disney's "Enchanted" and the global box-office phenomenon "Frozen", which made her a worldwide superstar via the massive hit and Oscar-winning song "Let It Go".

Now watch this powerful force live at the Hollywood Bowl, where she will display her musical chops by performing a diverse repertoire of classic pop and musical theater favorites, backed by a live orchestra. In between numbers, expect some fun, often profanity-laced audience banter from this engaging and talented performer.

The concert is scheduled on October 3, 2015.

Pictures: #TomCar Mania in LA

I am fairly new to Instagram and have never had so many "likes" and "instareposts" since i joined a couple months ago than i had last night. And it was all because i was instagramming from the show headlined by the popular Filipino love team of Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana (the "TomCar" in the headline). Filipino singer (with such a beautiful, beautiful voice) Julie Anne San Jose anchored the singing part of the show (along with Tom, who i just learned started out his career as a member of a boyband). Comedian Betong was the crowd favorite all night with his funny and "clean" jokes while teener Miguel Tanfelix elicited lots of shrieks for himself from starstruck (pun intended) fans himself.

Concerts: Lea Salonga & Il Divo Together



Il Divo is made up of Swiss Urs Buhler,

Spanish Carlos Marin, French Sebastien Izambard

and US tenor David Miller.

 Best news ever. Today, that is. :)

Thanks to a friend's facebook update, I learned that Tony-winner Lea Salonga, one of the most famous Filipino exports ever, is joining the British pop opera group Il Divo for a series of concerts in the US and Canada beginning this March until June. There are no specifics yet on the venues and dates but California is one of the 18 cities on the planned tour map.
