Trailers: Chris Rock's "Top Five"

"Top Five" is an upcoming film written and directed by comedy genius Chris Rock. The film stars Chris Rock, Rosario Dawson, Genevieve Angelson, Rachel Feinstein and Hayley Marie Norman.

In the movie, Chris Rock is Andre Allen, a comedian turned film star who, despite the expectations of his millions of fans, is determined to reinvent himself as a “serious” actor. The film screened at this year's 2014 Toronto International Film Festival and will open on December 12, 2014.

    Instead of people ripping Woody Allen for never having any notable African-American characters in his New York set movies, perhaps the antidote has always been what Rock is trying to do here--making his own "Woody Allen" type New York movie based around him and the people he hangs with. And I do love Rosario Dawson--one of America's more underutilized actresses.
