You know the Oscar nominations is just a day away when the good people of the Golden Raspberry Award Foundation or Razzies announces their selections for the worst movies and performances of the year on the eve of the actual Oscar nominations announcement, which, for the unaware, honors the best achievements in movies during the year.
In a surprise move, the group decided to honor Keanu Reeves (from six-time Razzie nominee to John Wick), Mike Myers (from The Love Guru to directing Supermensch), Ben Affleck (from Gigli to Argo and Gone Girl), Jennifer Aniston (from four-time Razzie nominee to Cake) and Kristen Stewart (from six-time Razzie winner for Twilight to Camp X-Ray) with nominations for the inaugural Redeemer Award in recognition for their transition from being perennial Razzie nominees in the past to becoming critical darlings this year. I wonder who among them would gallantly show up to pick up their trophy should they win. In the past, Oscar winners Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock gamely showed up to collect their trophies, earning admiration from the crowd and gaining more fans in the process.
